Decorating the tree

We had fun today putting "dominoes" on the tree. That's what the girls kept calling the ornaments. All decorations are out and we are ready for Christmas!

Today I was on my way to visiting teaching. It was really slick on the roads this morning from the rain and snow. We started to go up a hill and I said to the girls "Uh-oh! I hope we make it!" (kidding of course) and Claire says, "That's okay mom, just say I think I can" So they did until we got up the hill. Maybe we have read "the little engine that could" one to many times.
Then today the girls were "playing" Uno. Claire sneezed on the cards and said "oh no! I blessed them!!!" -uh not quite Claire.

2. Your significant other? Brandon - he keeps me grounded otherwise I would be a total spaz. Okay well more of a spaz than I already am.

7. Your dream last night? having a dream requires sleep and I am quite unfamiliar with that.

9. Your dream/goal? I really want to learn how to play the guitar- just one of many goals

Halloween

We carved our pumpkins the day before halloween this year. The kids were really excited to get their pumpkins going. I took some pics...

HALLOWEEN

Here's Jackson - Bumblebee the transformer. When Jackson told Brandon that he wanted to be bumblebee for Halloween Brandon thoughts immediately went to blacktights and leotard... He told him NO WAY! (Last years lycra crushed velvet vampire suit that Jackson wore nearly did Brandon in) We had to explain that it was not the insect but the transformer. He was cool with that.

Soccer Season

Soccer season finally ended. The kids are bummed but I secretly shouting HOORAY. We have our lives back again. That being said, it was a lot of fun watching them out there. All three of them did really well this year. Here are some pictures of the season.

This the Butterflies. Claire and Chloe are on the bottom left and they actually had another set of identical twin girls on their team. Emma and Abby, they are in the front also.

Pumpkin Patch

Tara, Carolina and I took our kids to the pumpkin patch in Castle Rock yesterday. The kids had a blast in the haunted house they ran through about 20 times. Such cute little thrill seekers!

Jackson teaches dad a lesson

I had to write this down because it was so cute. The other day some older kids at school were throwing wood chips at some of the kindergarteners. Jackson told me about it. I told Brandon. Later on he had this conversation with Jackson. Jackson if someone is picking on you, you should stand up for yourself. Next time those boys throw stuff at you, throw it back. Jackson then says "Dad, that's an eye for an eye." Proud of Jackson for knowing that Brandon says, "that's right Jackson... so next time that happens fight back." Jackson says "No dad, when Jesus came he changed that." He pays attention in primary!
