The Naughty Box

This is the naughty box.

Brandon took the kids shopping on Saturday and told them that he was going to pick up a naughty box for the top of the car. He told them if they were naughty in the car they would go

in the naughty box till the next stop. They didn't believe him until they saw the box and realized that he was serious. There really was a box. He told them on the way to church today that Grandma Sharon had bought it for him for his birthday. They refused to believe that their beloved grandma would buy something so awful. We would never REALLY put them in the box (just in case anyone was worried)... But they wanted to see if they would actually fit. I don't know why... Anyway Brandon had them up there this afternoon. they thought it was funny but they told us we couldn't shut it on them.

Like father, like daughter???

Last night before putting myself to bed I went to go check on Chloe and Claire. Claire was in an S shape sleep on her bed and Chloe managed to have only her head and shoulders on the bed. I thought... What in the world? Upon closer examination I found our girls had been accomodating some new additions in their bed. They were sleeping with Hotwheels. Claire had about 7 she was sleeping with and Chloe had 5. Looks like all Brandon's efforts have finally paid off. He may have a child yet that is as obsessed with cars as he is.

Uncle Fester

Brandon's new thing today is that he thinks our cute little Lexie looks like Uncle Fester from the Addams family. I am not sure I see the resemblence... What do you think?

pneumonia

Poor Jackson... it's 12:21am and he's having a breathing treatment. I wish we both could go to bed!

This has been a good week. Brandon got back from a fishing trip with his dad, grandpa and brothers. He brought us home some halibut... yum. I spent most of it getting over pneumonia. We mostly stayed inside. I found the girls one afternoon completely wiped out on their little couch. And this saturday they spent a good hour "helping" dad clean out his car. They were especially fascinated with the sunroof.

Happy Birthday Brandon

Lexie was blessed on June 1st. Grandpa Stace, Grandma Sharon, Grandpa Steve, Grandma Nancy, Uncle Chandler, Aunt Aubrey, Ivy, Rose all came out to see.

Garden of the Gods

Brandon's parents Stace and Sharon came to visit and we made a day trip down to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. The kids LOVED climbing on the rocks.
